SUMMARY:

CONVEYANCER (TRANSFERS)

Northcliff, Johannesburg
Salary: Market Related / Highly Negotiable (Dependent on Experience)

A well-established and reputable law firm based in Northcliff is looking to appoint an experienced Conveyancer to join their growing property department.
This opportunity is ideal for:

An established Conveyancer currently practising independently with an existing client base; or
A Senior Conveyancer with a proven track record who is confident in business development and building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the full transfer process from instruction to registration.
Handling a broad range of transfer matters, including:
- Deceased Estate Transfers
- Commercial Property Transfers
- Property Developments
- Sectional Title Transfers
- Residential Transfers
- Conventional Transfers
Providing clients with professional legal advice throughout the conveyancing process.
Liaising with estate agents, banks, developers, municipalities, and the Deeds Office.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Identifying and developing new business opportunities to grow the department.

Minimum Requirements

Admitted Attorney and Conveyancer.
Several years' experience handling a high-volume transfer independently.
Experience across various transfer types, including residential, commercial, sectional title, developments, and deceased estate transfers.
Strong business development and networking skills.
Existing client base will be highly advantageous.
Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship management skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
