Senior Coverage Banker: Commercial Banking

Are you an experienced Coverage Banker, great at executing complex deals and building authentic client relationships within the mid-corporate segment?

A bank that offers relationship based value to it's Commercial bank clients is looking for an experienced COVERAGE BANKER or Relationship Executive/ Deal Maker to manage and grow a portfolio of commercial to mid-corp clients.

The role of a Coverage Banker is to partner with key commercial clientele operating in the domestic mid-corporate market segment by providing bespoke and market leading funding, liquidity and transactional banking solutions to scale their businesses.

• Develop relationships and add value to clients through deep understanding of their businesses and identifying tailor-made solutions to meet needs.
• Provide market leading funding, liquidity and transactional banking solutions 
• Target new business.
• Drive and implement sales strategy, growing the bank's market share.

Education, Skills & Experience:

• Preferably a BCom or similar commercial qualification and relevant FAIS
• RE1
• 5-8 years experience in a relationship sales role within high value business, commercial or mid-corp banking
• Deep understanding of credit, liquidity and transactional banking, private equity and corporate advisory.

This role will suit a commercially astute Coverage Banker, who has experience dealing with clients in this segment and who truly aims to add long term value to clients through entrenching relationships.

Based in Gauteng.
