OUR client, a dynamic Asset Manager, has an exciting opportunity for a highly meticulous Senior Credit Analyst who is passionate about credit and its value to the overall growth of the business.

OUR client, a dynamic Asset Manager, has an exciting opportunity for a highly meticulous Senior Credit Analyst who is passionate about credit and its value to the overall growth of the business. You will be responsible for the entire cycle of the internal investment process and the administrative responsibilities of the Fund Management process. You will be required to focus on all aspects of risk within the funds they manage, including credit risk, legal risk, liquidity risk (thus cash flow planning for the funds), ESG requirements and all mandate and regulatory compliance aspects. You must be a qualified CA(SA) with 3-4 years Banking experience and/or for a credit-focused Asset Manager working either in a credit position or alongside a team of Dealmakers. DUTIES:

• Monitor credit exposure, in the process assessing covenants, analysing management accounts and monitoring portfolios for expiries and defaults.
• Completion of monthly risk reports in respect of all funds.
• Monitor adherence to fund mandates.
• Assist with completion of forecast cash flows for all funds on a fortnightly basis.
• Assist with analysis of new proposed loans.
• Vetting of credit submissions.
• Monitor adherence to the investment process by all members of the team.
• Completion of calculations/reports as requested by investors from time to time.
• Assist with liaising with investors regarding their requirements, if required.
• Attend periodic feedback to investors in respect of fund portfolios.

REQUIREMENTS:

• CA (SA).
• 3-4 Years Banking experience and/or for a credit-focused Asset Manager working either in a credit position or alongside a team of Dealmakers.
• The ability to analyse corporate credit, for mid-sized businesses, would be an added advantage to our business requirements.
