Senior Credit Controller (JB1797)
Ysterplaat, Cape Town
R15 – R18 000 per month (CTC)
Duration: Permanent

Requirements

Grade 12

Microsoft Excel and Pastel proficiency is a pre-requisite

10+ years experience working on a large book value

Vacancy Overview

Processing receipts from bank statements to c500 debtors accounts.

Keeping files for all debtors – particularly those with disputes

Liaising with CGIC to ensure Debtors are insured where possible

Sending monthly statements to all Debtors

Ensuring all accounts have up to date credit application forms

Ensuring that accounts do not go over limits

Chasing up for payment with Debtors – particularly those that have set payment arrangements

Credit notes – supply Accountant with all necessary documents for credit note authorisation

Bi- Monthly meetings reporting to Exco on state of the Debtors book. Ensure management or relevant sales people push slow payers for payment

Handing over slow payers to collection agents
