JOB SUMMARY:
A leading short-term insurance company located in Johannesburg is looking for a Senior Data Warehousing Specialist to develop, support and maintain existing data warehouses.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualification:

BSc or BTech (Informatics)
Microsoft certification

Requirements:

+5 years data modelling techniques experience
+5 years’ experience in Ralph Kimball data warehouse modelling
+5 knowledge of T-SQL Dynamic, T-SQL and Multi-threading
Sound knowledge of dimensional modelling and Metadata constructs
Solid understanding of EDW
Clear understanding of abstraction techniques
Ability to elicit data requirements
Solid documentation skills
Design patterns in data development experience
Solid understanding of Data Marts
Solid experience of ETL systems
Solid experience of sourcing, staging and loading
Target mapping
