Senior Datasphere Specialist

SUMMARY:
Purpose of the Role:

To design, implement, and maintain scalable data solutions within SAP Datasphere (or equivalent modern data platform), with a strong focus on data modelling, integration, and optimization to support analytics, reporting, and business decision-making

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build conceptual, logical, and physical data models within Datasphere.
• Develop and maintain semantic layers, views, and data products aligned to business requirements.
• Integrate diverse data sources (cloud, on-premises, APIs, flat files) into Datasphere.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance with enterprise standards.
• Optimize models for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with BI, analytics, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data models.
• Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer.

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience with SAP Datasphere (or SAP Data Warehouse Cloud) and strong data modelling background.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts, Snowflake, Azure, Google Big Query
• Experience with data integration tools and cloud platforms (e.g., SAP BTP, Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Understanding of star/snowflake schemas, dimensional modelling, and semantic modelling.
• Knowledge of data governance, security concepts, and best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• 7 years’+ experience in data engineering, data modelling, or BI development.
• Hands-on experience with Datasphere or equivalent cloud-based data platforms.
