Senior Design Draughtsmen (Contract) to join the Mining Division in Midrand (Johannesburg)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:

Reporting: Drawing Office Manager.
Remote working: Occasionally Hybrid.

You will be mainly responsible for:

Creating 3D parametric models from created skeletons using Autodesk Inventor Software.
Generating General Arrangement (G.A) and Detail drawings for Manufacturing.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Senior Design Draughtsman:

Produce manufacturing drawings.
Communicate with the Design Engineers.
Give feedback on drawing progress to the Drawing Office Manager.
Create 3D parametric models using SKELETON MODELING.
To produce the most accurate, correct and neat drawings.
Upholding the ISO 9001 Quality when producing drawings.

Minimum requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ active working experience as a Senior Design Draughtsman.
Minimum 5 years’ active working experience in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing and Fabrication (workshop experience)
Diploma in Mechanical Draughting
Technical competence using the following Autodesk Software:
Autodesk Inventor - 3D Skeleton modelling
Autodesk AutoCAD
Autodesk Vault
Navis Manager / Freedom
Revit (will be an added advantage)
TeamViewer for remote working.
High attention to detail
Experience in the Mining Industry will be an added advantage.
