POSITION INFO:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Developer to work in a specialised niche, combining software development with geospatial intelligence. The environment promotes collaboration, continuous learning, and exposure to modern technologies including Azure DevOps and GIS platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain scalable web applications using JavaScript frameworks and C#
Design and implement robust database solutions using MS SQL Server and/or Postgres
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design through to deployment
Contribute to system enhancements, optimisation, and troubleshooting

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:

Degree in Computer Science, Geo-informatics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Experience:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in web development (JavaScript and/or Angular)
At least 3 years’ experience in C# development
Experience working across the full software development lifecycle

Skills:

Strong knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (Angular advantageous)
Solid C# development experience
Database design and development (MS SQL Server/Postgres)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Advantageous:

Experience in a GIS or spatial development environment
Exposure to Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
Python scripting experience
Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
