Senior Developer

SUMMARY:
The senior developer will be responsible for working with the product owner and product manager to ensure the development of all integrated solutions. The senior developer will be responsible for maintaining the solutions code base as well as providing guidance to the external developer team on the CORE development, debugging and testing process. The senior developer will also be working closely with the systems administrator and tester in insuring system deployments are done according to the project scope.

POSITION INFO:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 -          Matric
            BSc Software Engineering
 -          6 years or more experience in enterprise software development.
 -          6 years or more experience in Linux - Ubuntu Server 18.04 and above, Fedora Server 30, Linux security and certificates, shell scripting, C#, C/C++, PostgreSQL
 -          Experience developing solutions for Kibana, Kubernetes and Kafka.
 -          Working with external development teams.
 -          DevOps Certification

RESPONSIBILITIES
 -          Defines product vision, strategy and roadmap (New and existing products)
 -          Booking of all field service reports and new instruments delivery reports on the SMS system.
 -          Scanning renaming and entering of field service reports – daily duty list.
 -          Typing of travel claims and leave forms. Obtaining relevant approval for claims and leave forms submitted.
 -          Capturing and keeping records of calibration certificates.
 -          Maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping confidential information.
 -          Any other reasonable duties given to you by your direct supervisor / manager.
