SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical design software, knowledge of the EC&I industry, and a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Design and develop Motor Control Centres (MCCs) in accordance with project specifications and technical requirements. Generate quality control (QC) documentation based on approved designs. Prepare accurate parts lists and bills of materials as per design requirements. Generate I\/O lists and cable schedules for electrical projects. Liaise with the panel-building team and Workshop Manager to ensure designs are practical and aligned with workshop requirements. Communicate and coordinate with suppliers and clients regarding technical specifications and design requirements. Review and re-issue electrical designs based on workshop and site installation redlines. Ensure design documentation is accurate, up to date, and compliant with project requirements. Support effective coordination between design, workshop, and installation teams. Minimum Requirements: BTech in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current); or BSc in Electrical Engineering; or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current). Minimum of 2 years' experience using ePlan. 1-2 years' experience using AutoCAD Electrical. Knowledge of and experience in the EC&I (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) industry. Experience in electrical panel building (at least 1 year advantageous). Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Basic project management skills (advantageous).
