POSITION INFO:

Top consulting engineering company is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (PrEng / PrTech) with experience in leading Data Centre or Healthcare projects to join their Cape Town or Johannesburg office.

Requirements:

BSc./ BTech. degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
Professionally Registered with ECSA
Excellent understanding of electrical building services systems with a proven track record in developing concept schemes and detailed designs along iwth preparing design stage reports.
Experience in leading Data Centre or Healthcare projects with the strong ability to work on multiple projects at any given time
Proven experience in Science and Laboratory facility design and good knowledge of standards and best practice including a varied portfolio of medium to large scale completed projects with experience across a range of project scales and other building types (an advantage)
Experienced in sustainable building design and in satisfying the regulatory and voluntary codes associated with the sustainability, energy strategy, including a sting interest in Net Zero Carbon design.
