SUMMARY:
We’re looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with a proven track record in Transmission Substation design, procurement, and implementation to join a dynamic team of forward-thinkers driving the development of reliable, sustainable energy infrastructure across Africa.

POSITION INFO:
What You'll Be Doing:

Leading the full scope of electrical design and procurement for large transmission and substation projects.
Managing multidisciplinary project teams, suppliers, and stakeholders across the full project lifecycle.
Driving value engineering, ensuring timelines and budgets are met, and reporting key project milestones.
Coordinating design reviews, inspections, risk assessments, and technical resolutions.
Overseeing supplier performance and ensuring seamless project documentation and quality compliance.

What You’ll Bring:

BSc/ BEng/ BTech in Electrical Engineering.
ECSA Registration (PrEng or PrTech) or eligibility for professional registration.
8+ years' experience in:

HV and EHV transmission design.
Substation design, procurement, and installation.
Working with tools such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, ETAP, Digsilent, and CDEGS.

Hands-on experience commissioning electrical substations is a big plus.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset essential for working with cross-regional teams.
