Senior Electronic Engineer (Hardware, Firmware & Embedded Systems)

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronic Engineer with deep experience across hardware, firmware, and embedded software development.

POSITION INFO:

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in the full product development lifecycle — from concept to production — with a passion for cutting-edge technologies in embedded systems, aerospace, and advanced electronic design.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead hardware and embedded systems development for electronic products and platforms.
• Manage project lifecycles including R&D, prototyping, testing, documentation, and handover to production.
• Design, develop, and test analog/digital circuits and PCB layouts (preferably using Altium).
• Architect and develop firmware in C/C++ for microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex, PIC, ESP32).
• Integrate sensors, communication protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, UART), and wireless modules (e.g., LoRa, Wi-Fi, BLE).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and production engineers.
• Provide leadership in technical strategy, design reviews, and mentoring junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and contribute to certifications and product approvals (e.g., EMC testing).
• Oversee and support production, installation, and technical support teams as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electronic hardware/firmware design and product development.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end engineering projects from concept through to production.
• Expertise in:
• Embedded C/C++ programming
• RTOS, embedded Linux
• PCB design (Altium or equivalent)
• Communication protocols: SPI, I2C, RS485, CAN, TCP/IP
• Microcontrollers: PIC, ARM, ESP32, Atmel
• Strong understanding of systems integration, IoT architectures, and digital electronics.
• Project and team leadership experience, including client interaction and cross-functional collaboration.

Desirable / Advantageous

• Experience in drone systems, laser-based technologies, or aerospace projects.
• Familiarity with wireless power transfer systems or embedded AI.
• Exposure to biometric systems, smart access controls, or security technologies.
• Prior involvement in international engineering projects or multilingual teams.
• Experience with product certifications, quality standards, and documentation for manufacturing.
