POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Lead the design, development, and delivery of embedded firmware and subsystem solutions Drive advanced debugging, root-cause analysis, and technical problem-solving Develop and execute system validation and testing strategies Manage engineering changes while ensuring system reliability and performance Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews Improve system performance through telemetry and observability initiatives Skills & Experience: Minimum 8+ years' experience in embedded systems engineering Strong background in embedded firmware development and system integration Proven experience troubleshooting complex embedded systems Solid understanding of validation, testing, and change management Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide engineering teams Proficiency with Claude Code is essential Qualification: BEng\/BSc in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, or Mechatronic Engineering Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered Connect with us on and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Engineering recruitment vacancies.
