Senior Engineer – Pulp & Paper / Utilities

SUMMARY:
We are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Engineer: Utilities to oversee the operations and maintenance of the Utilities and Services Department. This role is ideal for a technically skilled and proactive engineer who ensures optimal performance, reliability, and safety of all utilities supporting production.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain plant utilities, systems, and services.
• Implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Support production teams to ensure efficient operations and optimal asset performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on capital and maintenance projects.

• BSc Engineering or BTech in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering.
• Government Certificate of Competency (GCC Factories) – preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a heavy industry or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in boiler operations, utilities, or similar industrial plant engineering is advantageous.
• Strong technical problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under high-pressure conditions.
