Looking for a Senior Engineer with 8-10years working experience in Automation, Electronics & Robotics to join our Client's Engineering team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Experience in:

Design and Fabrication of Materials handling & Robotics systems
Broad knowledge of industrial instrumentation
Good understanding of PLC's including PLC programming
Knowledge of robots including robotic system design and programming
Good understanding of Business Principles
AutoCAD 2D draughting
Microsoft 365 proficient with a good understanding of Teams, Excel, Word, One Drive, Share drive, Outlook
MS Projects proficient
Manufacturing experience within the FMCG sector will receive preference
Costing and proposal documents
Previous experience in resigning factories or as a factory engineer

Skills requirements for the position:

Good problem solver and meticulous & analytical
Numerate
Ability to work within a Team but also function independently
Ability to think logically
Professional Customer service skills
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills (English with a second language as an added benefit)
Tenacity —Have a “get things done” attitude and good work ethic
Attention to detail
Ability to handle high—pressure and bottleneck situations
Organisation skills — able to prioritise and manage time well
Strong leadership skills
Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer
Operations research and statistical modelling

Additional requirements:

South African ID or valid working permit
Must have a valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle
Be Dosed in Cape Town or willing to relocate at their own cost
Must be willing to travel — at times it could be requested to travel for a period of time away from home.
Fully COVID—19 Vaccinated
