SUMMARY:
A leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead and manage the engineering function within a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment.

POSITION INFO:
Non-Negotiable Industry Experience: Candidates MUST have solid experience in: Metal Manufacturing Stamping Automotive Manufacturing Candidates without this experience will unfortunately not be considered. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage engineering, project, and maintenance teams Drive process optimisation, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency Oversee engineering projects, equipment installations, and production line upgrades Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies Support tooling, automation, robotics, and process control systems Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO standards, and customer requirements Manage budgets, reporting, KPIs, and departmental performance Drive new product introduction (NPI) and RFQ processes Liaise with customers and suppliers to improve manufacturing processes Minimum Requirements: BSc \/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Minimum 5 years Engineering Management experience in an automotive manufacturing environment Strong project management and process improvement experience Experience within metal manufacturing and stamping environments is essential S trong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills Advantageous: Lean Manufacturing \/ Six Sigma certification CAD and ERP\/MES systems knowledge Experience with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, VDA6.3 Strong understanding of tooling and production processes
