We're recruiting on behalf of a Germiston-based engineering company looking for a highly experienced and commercially astute Senior Estimator. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who thrives on analysing project requirements, developing accurate cost estimates, and contributing to competitive engineering proposals.

POSITION INFO:
Job & Company Description:
As a Senior Estimator, you will play a critical role in the bid and tender process by preparing detailed cost estimates for complex engineering projects. You will review technical specifications, drawings, and project scopes to develop accurate pricing models and bills of quantities while ensuring alignment with project requirements and commercial strategy.

You will work closely with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure estimates reflect realistic project execution plans, material requirements, fabrication considerations, and labour costs. The role also involves supporting proposal development, identifying cost risks, and contributing to tender clarifications and negotiations.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within engineering, EPC, or industrial projects
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and scope documents
- Experience preparing detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and pricing models
- Strong commercial awareness and risk assessment capability
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams
