SUMMARY:
An established player in the property and real assets sector is looking to appoint a Senior FP&A professional to join their finance team.
POSITION INFO:
This role is suited to a commercially strong finance professional with proven experience in financial modelling, forecasting, and executive-level reporting. You will work closely with senior leadership, taking ownership of the planning cycle and delivering insights that directly influence business strategy and performance.
You will operate at a strategic level, driving budgeting and forecasting processes, enhancing financial models, and partnering with key stakeholders across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights within a high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes
- Own and enhance financial models to support strategic initiatives
- Prepare and present executive and Board-level reporting packs
- Deliver in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making
- Partner with business units to drive financial performance
- Support external reporting cycles (half-year and year-end)
- Drive process improvements within the FP&A function
- Mentor and guide junior team members
Job Experience and Skills Required:Education:- Honours degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- CA(SA) or CIMA qualification highly advantageous
Experience:- Minimum 5–8 years’ post-qualification experience in FP&A or commercial finance
- Strong track record in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders
- Property or real assets exposure advantageous
Skills:Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
Strong commercial acumen
Excellent communication and presentation skills
High attention to detail and analytical thinking
