POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial statements
Perform complex balance sheet reconciliations and ensure ledger integrity
Manage month-end and year-end close processes
Review and post journals, accruals, provisions, and prepayments
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax, and statutory requirements
Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
Drive process improvements and internal control enhancements
Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight and support

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:
- BCom Accounting or equivalent (Honours / professional qualification advantageous)
Experience:
- 5–8 years’ experience in a financial accounting role
- Proven experience within the same or closely related industry
- Hands-on exposure to the full finance function and reporting
- Experience supporting audits and senior management reporting
Skills:
- Strong Excel (advanced)
- ERP / accounting systems experience (industry-relevant systems advantageous)
- Solid IFRS and financial reporting knowledge

- High attention to detail and strong analytical ability
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement
- Proactive, solutions-driven mindset
