SUMMARY:
Are you a detail-driven finance professional with solid BuildSmart experience and a passion for working in a fast-paced construction environment? Our client, a reputable and growing player in the construction industry, is looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to strengthen their finance team and support complex, project-based operations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, working close to the numbers, and supporting operational success on construction projects.

POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining financial controls, and supporting project and operational teams. You’ll work closely with management to deliver reliable financial information that drives informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly management accounts
Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations
Manage and monitor project accounting and cost reporting
Ensure effective use and integrity of BuildSmart
Assist with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements

Job Experience and Skills Required:).

Completed Degree in Accounting (essential)
Proven experience in a Senior Financial Accountant or similar role
Strong BuildSmart exposure (non-negotiable)
Solid experience within the construction industry
Good understanding of project-based accounting and job costing
