SUMMARY:
A well-established company, within the distribution and supply chain industry, is seeking a driven and commercially-minded Senior Accountant to join its team based in Johannesburg South.

POSITION INFO:
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to step into a leadership role while gaining strong operational exposure. This organisation forms part of a larger group, offering stability, structure, and growth opportunities. The role reports into the Group Financial Manager and Operations Manager, providing valuable exposure to both finance and operations. Ideal for a candidate looking to strengthen their commercial acumen within a fast-paced, product-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist with preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes Analyse financial performance and provide commercial insights to operations Oversee and support one direct report within the finance team Ensure the accuracy of financial records, reconciliations, and reporting Collaborate with operations to improve cost control and efficiencies Job Experience and Skills Required: BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential) Minimum 5 years' experience in a finance role within the distribution or supply chain industry Experience managing or mentoring junior staff advantageous Ability to engage with both finance and operational teams Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems Apply now!
