SUMMARY:
Looking for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to form part of a major multi-national company. This is an opportunity not to be missed, apply now.

POSITION INFO:

Month-end equity accounting of all investments and prepare upload files in HFM

Month-end prepared in SAP and data loaded into HFM for Corporate cost centers

Month-end: Prepare management accounts out of SAP and HFM

Half year and Interim reporting: Preparation of reconciliation items for IFRS for SME’s to IFRS to comply with IFRS reporting

Manage Intergroup loans and balance sheet reconciliations

Budget and forecast: Preparation of load files for Corporate cost centers in SAP BPC and loading of budget and forecast data on HFM, including disclosures and cash flows

Manage funding requirements

Assist with preparation of company tax return schedules & related queries

Preparation of financial statements

Ad hoc reporting as requested by CFO and reporting team

Interaction with auditors (internal and external)

Skills & Experience:

Must be a qualified CA(SA), preferably with big 4 experience

Minimum 5-8 years post article experience in a technical and strategic role

Must have in depth knowledge about accounting for equity/joint venture investments

Having served on board Audit and/or Financial Committees would be an advantage

Qualification:

CA(SA) Non-negotiable
