We're looking for an experienced Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join a dynamic finance team where you'll play a key role in driving strategic decision-making through data-driven insights and financial analysis.

Maintain budget master data within the budgeting system. Work closely with Finance and operational leaders to compile and manage budgets. Analyse actual performance against budget and forecast. Identify expenditure trends, risks and opportunities. Prepare monthly variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial performance. Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic business decisions. Analyse large and complex data sets to identify trends and business opportunities. Produce meaningful reports and presentations for senior leadership. Partner with business units to improve financial performance and operational efficiency. Conduct root cause analysis and recommend value-adding solutions. Support Executive and Board reporting with accurate financial information. Monitor market trends and assess their impact on business performance. Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and analytical processes. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or a related field. BCom Honours \/ CTA CA(SA) or CIMA qualification is essential. Experience: Proven 8 years' experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling experience. Excellent commercial and analytical skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with Power BI, Salesforce, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence senior management through data-driven insights. Skills & Competencies: Proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling experience. Excellent commercial and analytical skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with Power BI, Salesforce, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence senior management through data-driven insights.
