JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Development Technologist to assist the research and development team in the developing and application of food flavours and food colours as per our customers’ requirements

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements

National Diploma in Food Technology or similar
Previous work experience on sweet and savoury flavour development and application
Good project management and communication skills
Computer literate
Must be a self-starter and take ownership of assigned projects
Excellent attention to detail.

Key Duties

Development sweet and savoury flavours suitable for specific applications
Development of product application formulations
Compounding of samples
Sourcing and evaluation of new raw materials
Providing technical support to internal and external customers
Conducting sensory panels on development projects
Co-ordinate and run development trials with customers
Maintain and compile technical documentation for products developed
