SUMMARY:
Our client based in Pretoria is looking for a Senior Functional Specialist

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications

• A Degree or Advanced Diploma in the field of specialization NQF Level 8 OR equivalent; and
• Eight to ten years of job-related experience

The scope will include but will not be limited to:
·Responsible for the analysis of small applications or part of a team on larger applications.
·Responsible for the systematic and methodical investigation, analysis and documentation of all or part of a business area in terms of business functions and processes and the information they use.
·Identifies and examines business needs and determines timely and effective solutions to business functions and processes.
·Acts as a bridge between the business and the IT development team.
·Documents the underlying business architecture and conducts feasibility studies, business cases, risk assessments, writes proposals and creates functional requirements for new applications and major changes to existing applications made possible by information and communication technology.

·Require knowledge of the application or product for the specific area.
·Responsible for guidance and support to clients with regards to the functionality of the specific product or application.
·Responsible for product-related queries and resolution with the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).

Areas of specialization: ORACLE & Core and Internet Banking, National Cash Management, ERP, Calypso, Natural Adabas
