POSITION INFO:
We're on the hunt for a Group Tax Accountant to join a powerhouse in the services industry. This isn’t just another tax job—it’s your chance to step into a high-impact role with exposure across a diverse group of entities, where your expertise will actually shape strategic decisions.

The Gig:
Join a reputable, future-focused company where you’ll be the go-to expert for all things tax—from planning and reporting to liaising with Auditors and tax authorities. You’ll flex your technical muscle while collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Own:

Filing accurate and on-time income tax, VAT, PAYE, and ETI returns
Developing tax strategies to minimise liabilities and maximise value
Navigating South African tax laws with confidence
Partnering with Auditors and tax authorities on assessments and audits
Interpreting financial data to highlight tax implications
Keeping all tax records up to date and audit-ready
Advising internal teams on all things tax-related

What You Bring to the Table:

An Honours Degree in Taxation
SAIT accreditation & registered Tax Practitioner status
5+ years’ experience post-SAIT-articles
Solid knowledge of South African tax legislation
Strong skills in SAP, tax software, and Microsoft Excel
