Braamfontein Johannesburg

R550 000 – R650 000 CTC per Annum

International organisation requires an experienced HR Generalist to take responsibility of the HR portfolio in South Africa.

The role spans across recruitment of talent, policy research and development, providing advice across all levels of the business, leader guidance & mentoring, performance management, employee relations, organisational development, engagement initiatives and work, health, safety & wellbeing.

Responsibilities:

1^st 3 months of employment:

Creation of a strategic recruitment plan for the organisation

Assess and understand the company’s current employee landscape and business structure

Understand the company’s strategic direction in order to align HR policies and procedures hereto

General:

Timely delivery of HR processes and practices

Act as SME on all HR related matters – providing support to Managers and staff

Ensure that payroll is administered timely without discrepancies

Employee engagement - Ensure that employees are clear on expectations and career direction; advise on any training that may be needed and;

Recruitment

Requirements:

Relevant HR Degree

3+ years’ HR Management experience

Management, leadership, team building, consulting, negotiation and facilitation skills

Current knowledge of employment legislation and ‘employer of choice’ practices

Ability to interpret relevant legislation

Strong knowledge of HR organisational policies and practices

Strong IR/ Labour Legislation knowledge

Strategic recruitment techniques
