Pretoria East

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements Minimum 4-5 years' experience in a HR management or senior HR generalist role Experience managing the full HR function Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation Experience within a law firm is a must Strong experience in employee relations, disciplinary procedures and grievances Experience with recruitment, onboarding and performance management Good understanding of HR policies, procedures and compliance Experience with Employment Equity for a Law firm would be an advantage Previous experience working with Candidate Attorneys and Law students would be ideal Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organised with strong attention to detail Professional, confidential and able to deal with sensitive employee matters Strong Microsoft Office skills Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee the full HR function within the firm Provide HR advice and support to partners, management and employees Manage the full employee lifecycle , from recruitment and onboarding through to exit Oversee recruitment, selection, appointments and induction Manage employee relations , disciplinary matters, grievances and workplace investigations Provide guidance on labour legislation and HR best practices Develop, implement and maintain HR policies and procedures Manage and monitor performance management processes Identify training and development requirements and coordinate training initiatives Manage employee records and ensure all HR documentation is accurate and up to date Oversee leave, benefits and HR administration Assist with Employment Equity, Skills Development and other statutory HR requirements Monitor staff retention, engagement and workplace culture Assist management with organisational structures, succession planning and staffing requirements Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive employee and firm-related matters Prepare HR reports and provide management with relevant HR information and insights Consultant: Elaine Braysher - Dante Personnel Pretoria Faerie Glen Apply via our website or apply directly on the below link: If you do not hear from us within 5 days, please accept that your application was unsuccessful l
