SUMMARY:
Purpose of the job : Responsible for overseeing execution on transformation programmes, identifying improvement needs, and for planning, organising and controlling appropriate transformation interventions under the leadership of the Transformation Leader.

POSITION INFO:

 pls note that this role is open to Congolese Nationals only.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Sciences (Psychology or HR)
  • Formal Training in Management of Training and Development
  • 5 years in HR related disciplines and 2 years management of training role

Responsibilites :

  1. Role Profiles
    1. Participate in defining the positions in priority order to be transformed with timeframes.
    2. Execute on the process of role profile requirement descriptions. Role profiles to cover requirements under the following headings:
      1. Mental Processing Ability
      2. Knowledge
  • Technical Skills
  1. Social Process Skills
  2. Application
  1. Internal Talent Identification
    1. Participate in identifying people with talent along with the involvement of management and expert stakeholders.
    2. Record internal talent in a recognised database (transformation database)
    3. Assist with the talent assessment process.

 

  1. Career Development Panels
    1. Assist with the preparation and scheduling of for the Departmental Career Development Panels.
    2. Take the minutes of the sessions of the departmental career development panels
    3. Follow up on actions decided at the sessions of the departmental career development panels
    4. Deputises for the Superintendent at Executive Transformation Panel sessions.
  2. Development Plans
    1. Liaise with managers and interviewing employees at all levels to identify and assess training and development needs
    2. Participate in designing individualised development plans per candidate
    3. Assist line management to keep the departmental succession plan development updated.
    4. Assist the career development planning process with departmental and expert stakeholders
    5. Assist with the sourcing of external training providers.
    6. Monitors establishment of departmental development plans.
    7. Compile, analyse and present information regarding employee development needs
    8. Supervise and monitor progress made via transformation programmes
  3. Delivery Execution and Reporting
    1. Monitor and measure progress of delivery against baseline plan
    2. Report progress to Superintendent II, Transformation.
    3. Record and maintain records of the talent pools as and when created.
  4. Transformation Programmes
    1. Act as Champion of the Supervisory Development Programme
    2. Analyse and report Transformation programme statistics
    3. Compile Transformation and Skills Transfer Progress Report
    4. Oversee compilation of Individual Development Plans for employees
    5. Monitor external training requests
  5. General
    1. Perform secretarial duties for Development Committees and Panels
    2. Complete Transformation projects as required
    3. Oversee and conduct Climate / Culture Surveys
    4. Provide Career Management guidance to employees
