With our second branch launching in Knysna this October, we’re expanding the team and looking for talent ready to take ownership, lead with creativity, and help define the next era of Saint Marks.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re ideally looking for a stylist to bring a bit of edge and contrast to the team, but this is not a strict requirement — talent, personality, and professionalism come first.
This is not a junior position. We are looking for senior stylists who go beyond the basics — artists who understand trends, client care, and what it takes to create an experience, not just a service.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-service styling: cutting, colouring, blow-drying, treatments, and styling
- Bridal styling and group bookings – experience or interest in wedding hair is a strong advantage
- Salon leadership: oversee daily salon operations when the owner is off-site
- Contribute to the launch and growth of the new Knysna location (if applicable)
- Build relationships with clients and help grow a loyal base
- Uphold the aesthetic and values of the Saint Marks brand
Requirements- Formal qualification in hairdressing/styling (Diploma or equivalent)
- At least five years of salon experience as a stylist
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Ability to work independently and show initiative
- Passion for weddings, fashion, and trend-driven styling
- Leadership or management experience in a salon setting is a bonus
