POSITION INFO:
WHAT YOU NEED

• Minimum 2 years' guest relations or front office experience within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.
  - Diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management advantageous.
  - Strong knowledge of guest service, VIP hosting, and complaint handling.
  - Proficiency in Opera PMS and Microsoft Office.
  - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-centric approach.
  - Professional presentation and confidence when interacting with high-profile guests.
  - Strong organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
  - Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

• Act as the main point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless and personalised experience from arrival to departure.
  - Anticipate guest needs and provide personalised assistance, recommendations, and solutions.
  - Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints professionally while ensuring effective service recovery.
  - Coordinate VIP arrivals, special occasions, and guest requests with relevant departments.
  - Maintain excellent knowledge of Cape Town attractions, dining experiences, and local activities.
  - Work closely with Front Office, Concierge, and Food & Beverage teams to deliver exceptional service.
  - Maintain accurate guest profiles and preferences to enhance repeat guest experiences.
  - Uphold the hotel's service standards, brand values, and commitment to excellence.
