Senior IT Security Auditor

The ideal fit for this role must possess abilities such as delivering outstanding risk and audit management services, leading, and delivering risk-based business/IT assurance and advisory audit engagements.  The perfect candidate must be familiar with current and emerging risks to provide relevant insights to facilitate positive change.

The role requires that the candidate must be comfortable and willing to perform and take initiative in a high-pressure work environment.  This culturally diverse corporate body appreciate self-motivated individuals willing to conform to the company’s values which include integrity, responsibility, and open-mindedness, simplicity, and entrepreneurialism. 

Education:

• University degree (Information Technology, Computer Engineering or Computer Science)
• Certification required (CIA, CISA, CA).
•  Ethical hacking qualifications advantageous (CISM, CISSP, OSCP)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Good understanding of IT and security frameworks (COBIT, NIST, ISO27001)
• Proficient use of analytical tools (IDEA, Alteryx) and visualisations software (Power BI, Tableau)
• Strong communication skills (English proficiency)
• Willing to travel up to 20% world-wide (post-covid)
• Strong analytical skills combined with critical thinking
• Meticulous attention to detail

Job Responsibilities:

• Contributing to the IA’s strategic objective of becoming ‘Insight Generators’
• Elevating the audit profession into the future by Incorporating digital technology and data analytics to facilitate outstanding risk management services
• Creating risk, hacking and fraud scenarios to perform real time stress testing
• Familiarity with current and emerging risks to provide relevant insights
• Undertaking strategic relevant technology projects, ad hoc investigations and any other reviews as required
