POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end coordination of import shipments across the international transport chain
Clearing, forwarding, and transport coordination of seafreight cargo
Full administration and invoicing of shipment files
Arranging insurance cover and managing claims where required
Ensuring compliance with quality management systems and operational standards
Providing guidance and support to Import Controllers and Learners
Delivering consistent, high-level service in a demanding customer environment

Minimum Requirements

5–7 years recent import controlling experience within the Clearing & Forwarding industry
Proven experience managing the full import process independently
Matric (essential)
Freight forwarding qualification (NQF Level 4 or 5 or equivalent – advantageous)
Sound knowledge of ShipShape
Strong understanding of seafreight operations and documentation
