SUMMARY:
Our client in the Energy Solution Industry, has an opportunity available for a Senior Industrial Refrigeration Technician (Ammonia) to be based in the Centurion area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Minimum N6 qualification / Trade Tested.
Category B (08) qualification (as per SAQCC).
3 - 5 years’ experience in Ammonia Refrigeration
Demonstrated history in the Industrial Refrigeration industry.
Broad technical knowledge & understanding (Electrical, Control and Mechanical).
Team leadership experience within a refrigeration team

Duties:

Attending to breakdowns
Servicing of plants (as per OEM specs and developed checklists
Installation of compressors and motors
Commissioning of Systems and units
Wiring of all refrigeration equipment:
o floorboards
o main boards
o compressors panels
o controls etc.
Test lines, components and connections using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic test equipment
Conduct in-depth failure analysis of refrigeration systems and recommend suitable solutions.
