SUMMARY:
Our client is currently in the process of recruiting for a Senior Information Security Analyst for a 6 Months Contract

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Ensuring compliance to security standards on all network switches, routers on national Windows based operating platform
Providing support to all infrastructure activities and projects which may require and/or impact on network and information security
Participating in developing and maintaining an infrastructure security architecture and strategy will also form part of the responsibilities
Ensuring compliance to security standards
Carry out ad hoc audits to ensure effective compliance to the relevant security standards.
implement security products
Provide continuous network and information security monitoring and security risk mitigation
To participate in developing an infrastructure security architecture in the Windows and network space through effective risk assessment methodologies and research.

Qualifications and Experience:

Deep skills and experience in information security, network security firewalls, network segmentation, and other related security technologies;
DeepskillsandexperienceinMicrosoftOperatingSystemsandApplications.MCSE/MCSA certification is advantageous
CISSP(CertifiedInformationSystemSecurityProfessional)or GIAC(GlobalInformation Assurance Certification)
ThecandidateshouldhaveexperienceandknowledgeofSIEM(SecurityInformationandEventsManagement) infrastructures
A minimum of 4yearsin cybersecurity experience;
KnowledgeoflargescalenetworkedinfrastructureonaMicrosoftplatformincludingswitchingand routing technologies;
DeepskillsandexperienceindesigningandsupportingofMicrosoftnetworks
Good documentation skills
Abilitytoadaptin ever-changing environments
Knowledge of Security best practices and recommendations
Ability to draft, implement and enforce Information Security Policy
