Senior Injection Moulding Setters

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and optimise injection moulding machines according to production requirements.
• Install and remove moulds and auxiliary equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adjust and maintain machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time, etc.) to ensure consistent quality output.
• Conduct first-off inspections and in-process quality checks.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve moulding defects and process issues.
• Maintain moulds, tools, and equipment in good working order.
• Ensure all safety, health, and environmental standards are adhered to.
• Record production data, process settings, and handovers accurately.

Requirements

• N4 qualification in mechanical or Electrical
• At least 5 years experience as an Injection Moulding Setter in a manufacturing environment.
• Sound knowledge of plastics materials and moulding processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
