Position: Senior Interior Designer – Multi-Sector
Location: Umhlanga-Durban
Salary: R28 000 - R45 000 CTC (DOE)
We are seeking a creative leader with strong design expertise & project management with 7-10 years of experience. as a Senior Interior Designer to lead high-end projects across luxury residential, retail, hospitality, and corporate interiors. This role requires a creative leader with strong design expertise and project management experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from concept to completion
- Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and material palettes
- Oversee space planning, layouts, FF&E, and finishes selection
- Produce and review 2D drawings, 3D models, and renderings
- Manage clients, suppliers, contractors, and project timelines
- Mentor junior and intermediate designers
- Conduct site visits, installations, and quality inspections
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design / Interior Architecture
- 7-10 years’ experience across multiple sectors
- Expert in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and 3D rendering software
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong project management, client engagement, and team leadership skills
- Multi-sector experience (luxury residential, retail, hospitality, corporate)
- Knowledge of building regulations and compliance
- Valid driver’s license
