Duties:

• Contribute to the development of a risk-based annual audit plan, outlining the scope, objectives, and timelines of audit activities.
• Design and implement internal audit procedures and work programs that integrate data analytics as a key component.
• Perform internal audits to evaluate the adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of internal controls and business processes.
• Utilize data analytics tools and trend analysis to test and validate control performance.
• Identify and assess key risk areas across the organisation, recommending appropriate control measures to mitigate potential exposures.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders and escalate significant issues to senior management.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports aligned with the approved audit plan and professional standards.
• Track and monitor the timely implementation of management’s corrective actions in response to audit recommendations.
• Lead internal audit engagements and provide guidance and support to team members during execution.
• Conduct ad-hoc reviews and investigations as requested by senior management.
• Commit to continuous professional development to maintain and enhance auditing and analytical expertise.
• Stay informed of emerging trends, technologies, and developments in internal audit, risk management, and data analytics.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Possession of a CIA, CFE, CISA, or an equivalent professional certification
• A relevant accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, or ACCA is also desirable

• At least 5 years’ internal audit experience, preferably in professional services or in-house financial services, with strong communication, stakeholder management, and data analytics skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, work collaboratively, ensure high-quality outputs, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver audit findings.
• Holds or prefers professional certifications (CIA, CFE, CISA) and accounting qualifications (CA, CPA, ACCA).
• Experience in online gaming, sports betting, data-driven audits, compliance, and ISO standards is desirable
