Retail leaders seeks to hire a Senior Internal Auditor to assist in the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes within the business.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications:

IIA (Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors)

Skills:

Excel Advanced – Non negotiable
Forensic auditing experience
Retail Audits beneficial
Data analysis

Job description:

Perform forensic audits
Conduct follow ups on audits to monitor management interventions
Manipulate large amounts of data and compile detailed reports identifying data patterns
Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
Ensure validity and goal achievements by giving independent and objective advise
Prepare and submit reports that reflect audit results
Obtain, analyse and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data and flowcharts etc
Assist in determining internal audit scopes and develop annual plans
Perform audit cycles including risk management and control management over operations effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations especially in the retail environment.
