POSITION INFO:
This role offers exposure to complex international structures, African revenue authorities, and transfer pricing projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal red tape. You’ll work in a small, dynamic international tax team, advising clients directly and helping shape strategies that matter. The role is highly visible, client-facing, and perfect for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial, Big 4-style environment - without the bureaucracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic advice on international corporate tax matters, including double taxation agreements, withholding tax, and Pillar 2.
Draft and review tax opinions, memoranda, and correspondence for clients.
Lead dispute resolution processes, including objections and appeals, with revenue authorities.
Structure and implement FTOs and cross-border tax solutions for clients.
Collaborate internally to support modelling, analysis, and team knowledge-sharing.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Qualified Lawyer OR CA(SA) - legal background preferred.
7 to 10+ years post-articles, with significant exposure to international corporate tax, transfer pricing, African tax authorities, and client advisory roles.
Strong tax writing, structuring, and client-facing skills.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive, and able to work in a small, close-knit team with minimal supervision.
