Senior Inventory Controller

SUMMARY:
Our client in Montague Gardens, Cape Town, is seeking a Senior Inventory Controller to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Matric certificate, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), and essential experience with Syspro. Strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and excellent attention to detail are key requirements for this role.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Syspro experience is essential
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail

• Working closely with the Procurement Manager
• Following through on price increases/decreases as negotiated by the Procurement Manager (including attending meetings with suppliers)
• Placing and administering purchase orders as instructed by the Procurement Manager
• Overseeing and assisting two inventory controllers
• Production job cards
• Communicating with the production department
• Loading bill of materials
• Stock write-offs
• Stock adjustments/stock transfers
• Opening of stock codes
• Cost changes
• Processing returns
• Processing reworks in production
• Processing decanting
• Invoicing

• Monday to Friday: 08:00- 17:00
