POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Manage the month-end close process and maintain the integrity of the general ledger Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and board reporting packs Perform fund accounting activities, including investment transaction processing and reconciliations Calculate and review NAVs and other fund performance reporting metrics Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records for investment vehicles and related entities Reconcile bank accounts, investment portfolios, and cash positions Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Support annual audits and the preparation of annual financial statements Manage VAT, tax, and statutory compliance requirements Monitor treasury activities, cash flow requirements, and liquidity forecasts Maintain strong financial controls and governance processes Support transaction execution through financial analysis and accounting assessments Liaise with auditors, regulators, advisors, and other key stakeholders Drive process improvements, reporting enhancements, and automation initiatives Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in investment accounting, fund accounting, asset management, fund administration, or a related environment Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles Experience with investment portfolios, fund structures, and reconciliations NAV calculation and investor reporting experience advantageous Exposure to private equity, alternative investments, or investment holding structures preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience working on accounting systems and investment reporting platforms Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines Qualification: BCom Accounting or equivalent Honours degree Completed audit articles CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA or similar professional qualification For more information connect with us on and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Financial recruitment vacancies.
