SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading payment aggregator and provider of secure payment solutions, is seeking an experienced Senior Developer to join their growing team in Stellenbosch. This is a hybrid position, requiring regular in-office collaboration

POSITION INFO:
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead technical integration of new clients into systems
Conduct development testing, fixes, and ongoing maintenance
Enhance existing functionality and design new features
Resolve complex queries (3rd line support)
Ensure system security and perform audits
Drive improvements in development techniques and processes
Mentor and guide junior team members

Essential Requirements and Skills:

Tertiary qualification in Software Development, Computer Science, or Engineering
8+ years of relevant development experience
Strong expertise in Java (SE/EE), Spring Boot
Proficiency in SQL (MS SQL Server/Postgres)
Familiarity with Eclipse/NetBeans IDEs, Maven, GIT
Experience in continuous integration and testing environments
Knowledge of OpenAPI protocols

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Exposure to financial transaction processing systems
Experience with multi-threaded, high-volume real-time systems
Postilion development skills (source/sink node development)
Agile methodology exposure (Scrum/Kanban)
Front-end development experience with Angular
