An international focus client based in Pretoria is looking for a Senior JavaScript / Web Developer with over 8 years'' experience in implementing web sites using JavaScript - 12 month contract.

 

Minimum qualifications:

 

• Degree in IT or relevant experience

• Nodejs (expressjs, apollo)
• MV* experience (React, Vue, JavaScript)
• Redis, Mongo
• CSS 3
• Antd
  
• HTML 5
  
• OpenShift / Kubernetes
• AWS
  
• Docker, Docker Compose
  
• Bitbucket, Nexus
  
• Prometheus, Grafana
  
• Elastic, Kibana
• Extensive knowledge in web technologies to be able to implement web sites using JavaScript.
• Ability to access Web APIâ??s that exposes business logic from the back-end to the web applications
• Ability to implement a backend REST API that can connect to a persistence layer to retrieve data
• Experience in enterprise application integrations to different systems
• Experience working with a CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of BitBucket/git 

Duties and responsibilities:

 

• Attend workshops and meetings to obtain business requirements - lead and facilitate, when required
• Meet with end users and gather requirements
• User training
• System testing/parallel runs
• System implementation
• System audits/quality assurance
• Penetration testing and compliance
• Propose and review system design and evaluate alternatives
• Review and present proposed system solution to IT Project Manager / Leader and User Management or System owner.
• Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements
• Preparation of system/technical documentation
