SUMMARY:
Our client a TV manufacturer is looking to enter the South African Market and is looking for a senior Key Account Manager to penetrate the market.

POSITION INFO:

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling TVs and driving the consumer electronics sales strategy for South Africa; including developing and managing new independent, Furniture and retail accounts.

Supporting in studying the Market potential for new products categories.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain sales strategy and implement with sales channels within the Republic.
Work towards the objective of achieving volume targets.
Identify the appropriate balance in sales between channels to ensure the correct sales contribution by channel
Manage and monitor the sales operations
Develop and drive continuous product demand and ensure product display quality.
Working closely with the accounts to enhance the sell-out of the products.
Monitor and drive product demand, stock level, competitor’s promotion, retail display quality

Additional:

Must have previous experience in sales within the consumer electronics industry (Mandatory)
Extensive sales thinking, demonstrable sales focus, pro-active and proven sales track record.
Self-starter being able to work under minimum supervision.
Excellent quantitative aptitude, commercial acumen, strong persuasion skills, assertive nature.
Have previous experience in handling some of these accounts

Minimum requirements:

5 to 7years of experience in retailer/distributor management within a consumer electronics environment
