To provide general legal advice, including legal research on litigation matters

To manage clients that are in business rescue

To manage clients that are in liquidation

To manage recoveries/debt collection
Qualification
- Law degree and Admission as an Attorney essential
- Masterâ€™s degree such as LLM and MBA desirable
Knowledge SkillsÂ
- A minimum of 5 yearsâ€™ post-article experience in the financial services industry
- Experience of similar work within the SOE/Development Finance environment will be an added advantage
- Experience in business rescue proceedings
- Experience in recoveries
- Experience in preparing reports
- Experience in the drafting and negotiation of settlement agreements
- Manage litigation matters on behalf the client
- Provide general legal advice, including legal research on litigation matters

- Ensure compliance with internal legal and other client procedures and policies
- Identify and minimize potential legal risks
- Negotiate, draft, and review settlement agreements and other legal documentation
- Make presentations on legal and regulatory developments
- Conducting legal due diligence investigations
- Ensure client satisfaction by providing speedy delivery of agreements and advice
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, external legal counsel and other key stakeholders
- Develop and maintain client and institutional relationships, locally and internationally
- Prepare various reports on legal matters
