A well-established Law Firm in Randburg is seeking a Senior Legal Litigation Secretary to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing a busy litigation practice with minimal supervision.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary in a Litigation department (High Court and Magistrate’s Court exposure essential)
- Strong working knowledge of court procedures, rules, and filing processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant legal software (e.g., Legal Suite / GhostPractice / AJS)
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files and deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and support senior attorneys
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, formatting, and preparing pleadings, notices, and correspondence
- Managing court filings, indexing, and pagination
- Handling dictaphone typing and document preparation
- Managing diaries, appointments, and deadlines
- Liaising with clients, counsel, and court personnel
- Maintaining confidentiality and professional standards at all times
