SUMMARY:
A well-established Law Firm in  Randburg is seeking a Senior Legal Litigation Secretary to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing a busy litigation practice with minimal supervision.

Salary: R 30,000 ctc

• Minimum Requirements:
  
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary in a Litigation department (High Court and Magistrate’s Court exposure essential)
  • Strong working knowledge of court procedures, rules, and filing processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant legal software (e.g., Legal Suite / GhostPractice / AJS)
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files and deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and support senior attorneys
• Key Responsibilities:
  
  • Drafting, formatting, and preparing pleadings, notices, and correspondence
  • Managing court filings, indexing, and pagination
  • Handling dictaphone typing and document preparation
  • Managing diaries, appointments, and deadlines
  • Liaising with clients, counsel, and court personnel
  • Maintaining confidentiality and professional standards at all times
