Our client is a dynamic and highly respected advocate based in Pretoria. Their practice is fast-paced, demanding, and requires a legal professional who is not only technically proficient but also thrives under pressure. They are seeking a dedicated individual to manage their practice with precision and efficiency.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary / PA in a litigation environment (administrative and constitutional law is advantageous)
Management of the advocate’s professional and personal diary
Making travel arrangements
Acting as the central point of contact for the advocate
Tech savvy and Fully proficient in: OM System, CaseLines, Court Online, PDF24, MS Excel and AuxCon (Incvoicing) Typing speed: 80-120 wpm
Strong drafting skills – must be able to draft pleadings, notices and applications independently based on brief instruction
Ability to manage files from opening to finalisation
Experience ordering legal and general supplies
Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
High attention to detail
Flexible – willing to work outside of standard hours (including weekends and public holidays – dependent on work pressure)
